Line 6 Pod HD - High Definition Sound

In the same desktop multi effects pedal family as the Pod X3, Pod 2.0 and Pocket Pod, the Line 6 Pod HD

One of the first things I look for in a multi effects pedal is the ins and outs.  The Pod HD is the only model in the desktop line that has Digital S/PDIF, USB and 1/4″ outs.  In addition to this, the Line 6 Pod HD has an XLR Mic input along with the standard 1/4″ guitar in jack.  This is a comprehensive amount of ins and outs for such a small unit!

If you feel like recording, the Pod HD allows you direct connection to your desktop via USB.  This along with POD HD Edit software editor/librarian will allow you to get your ideas down fast and easy.

To me, this is the perfect multi effects pedal for the bedroom guitarist.  Having been one for 20 years or so, I know what I like.  This is like the Zoom 505 I started with, except with great sound, great recording capability, and really useable effects.
